The second generation of the CX-5 will soon be available at Solution Mazda. The completely redesigned 2017 CX-5 will be equally appreciated by families and fans of sporty driving. This crossover, which represents one quarter of the Mazda automobiles sold in Canada, boasts an exterior that’s bolder and sleeker than ever, thanks to its KODO: “Soul of Motion” design, which has already become well-known to the public. Modern and dynamic, the 2017 CX-5 will feature a new exterior paint color: Soul Red Crystal. Available starting with the 2017 models, this highly saturated color accentuates every contour of the body, creating areas of brilliant light and pronounced shadow.

The 2017 Mazda CX-5: sporty and powerful

The new 2017 CX-5 isn’t just pretty; it’s muscular, too! With its 2.5-liter gas engine, it unleashes a whopping 184 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque. But wait! Mazda has a big surprise for us: a diesel drivetrain will now be available! Exhibiting 150 horsepower, this stunning 2.2-liter engine will be capable of delivering a solid 280 pound-feet of torque at low rpm. What’s more, this crossover will benefit from G-Vectoring Control, which calibrates engine response according to the angle of the steering wheel for more intuitive handling.

Improved passenger compartment

The interior of the 2017 Mazda CX-5 has been reconceived. Slightly lowered and more spacious, with increased rear visibility, a head-up active driving display and seats that are even more comfortable and adjusted to the occupants, Mazda has left no stone unturned. Additionally, the cabin features sophisticated soundproofing for clearer conversation and an optimal driving environment.
